which seat should I take
as an Inter fan first and foremost, it's not easy to also root for Barça (yes, I know! woe is me, first world problems etc etc..)
because you're bound to have people starting questioning you. I mean How can you? How DARE you even root for those people?
well, sorry people but I do. I fell in love with Barça four years ago, and even if there are players I can't stand I just like the team, I like the colours. In the end the things I like outweigh the things I don't.
If you are a football fan you should know that sometimes you can't explain why you like a team. I'm not talking about the players, because I'm not one of those fans who start liking a team because they like the players who play in it (nothing wrong with it). if I fall in love, I fall in love with the colours first and then I'll start liking the players, not even all of them probably. I don't know if this counts as strange... but I'm digressing.
So, I like Barça. That is apparently a sin for some.
At the same time I don't think Barça is made up of angels who descended from heaven to grace us with their talent and perfection.
Apparently for some fans, admitting Barça players are not perfect is also a sin.
Now, during this season I finally understood something. I have much more fun watching football if I don't look at what the fans have to say (really, it was that simple! I should have thought about it earlier).
This way I can support whichever team I feel like, I don't have anyone telling me I'm not a true fan and I don't have to watch fellow fans bashing others and/or all too often turning a blind eye to the players' faults.
So why am I writing this? I don't know exactly. Just to get things off my chest probably. It's probably the fever's fault!
I think in the end what I'm trying to say is that I don't like both attitudes ("THEY SUCK!!! THEY DON'T DESERVE ANYTHINGGG!!" on one side and "HDU DISLIKE THEM??! THEY'RE PURFECT!11!1" on the other).
I guess this is pretty much a pointless post, but I just.. felt like writing it. ╮(´ ▽ `)╭
