(no subject)
You know, I just don't get it.
I don't understand why people lie to their spouses. Why do some arrogant, selfish people think that it's ok to hurt people over and over, just to protect what they're doing, and then threaten suicide when they get caught?
And why do stupid people believe them, over and over, when the proof's right in their face?
Oh well, not my marriage, not my problem. But man, are the fireworks going to fly when the guilt eats at him enough that he finally tells the truth. Wish I could be there for that show.
I go in today to sign the papers for my new keyboard and bag. I've been approved for funding for special equipment at school because of my back. Here's hoping they can just give me the money there and then, and I can go get them before class. If not, I'll just go when I get my EI tomorrow. One way or another, I can't carry that backpack anymore.
Harley's got another shot at the Vista config cert, turns out there was something wrong with the testing facility's computers, and a ton of people were given free cert vouchers. He just finished up Active Directory, and he's kept his notes so I'll be able to get that cert too. :D
I'm in the hardware part for A+ right now, passed A+ OS with flying colours, 93% on the final exam, 94% in the course overall. That's nice to be able to say. :) 2 more weeks of hardware and then I can start studying for the cert while we're doing Network+. That's the one I *really* want to get into.
Looks like my main goal of getting in to RIM not on the bench and not in the call center may be closer to happening then I thought. :) It's nice to know people. ;)
The girls are doing good, thankfully. 8 months or so and they'll be coming home.
Things are better now. They were bad for a few months, but they're better now. And getting better every day. And with luck, Ollie won't have been adopted yet, and when we get out of this tiny bedroom in to a real apartment, we can get him back. Pickles too.
