Well, I don't know if anyone reads this anymore or not, but that doesn't impact this at all. According to LJ, I haven't posted in 20 weeks. Well, I'm going to start posting now. Turns out there's something wrong with my spine that may require surgury. So, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and weightloss, just in case the surgury is necessary. So, I'm going to use my lj as my log of what I'm doing. I'm not going to make it private, I have nothing to hide. So if you're getting my posts on your friends page and don't want to see weightloss content, feel free to remove me.
So, to start, I went to goodlife last night. There was a BodyStep class. Stairs are easy right? I take the stairs at work all the time... Yeah, no. Holy shit. I did it though. I made it through the hour, without tripping, knocking anyone over or passing out. It was a good first night.
I don't have a scale at home, the girls broke mine, so I weighed myself at the gym. 237. Not bad. Less than I expected. So, I don't have a weight goal, I need to lose inches, and since I'll be turning the fat to muscle, weight really doesn't mean much. So I'm going to take my measurements as well, and monitor how I'm doing.
I'm considering going full disclosure and logging what I eat as well so I can keep track of where I'm folding and getting bad for you food. But I don't know. Either way, it's high time for a change and it's going to be a good one. The gym membership was a great decision and dispite the amount of pain I'm in, I'm glad I went and I'll be going again.... Provided I can walk by next week... Lol
