2 Things for Lou, my Fishy-Lady friend!
One's REALLY long, and the other is really short, so I'll do the short one first... My youngest daugher has decided that she wants to be a Zombie SuperGirl for Hallowe'en. :D I figured you'd get a kick out of that. I'll be sure to post pictures after the 31st. :D
The second is a dream I had early this morning. :D
Me, and a bunch of people were visiting the Fishy-Lady. She was giving us a tour of her house, (2 stories and a basement). That was what I knew though. It actually started while we were in the basement. It was dark in a comfortable kind of way, there was very little light, but we had no trouble seeing. There was furnature against the walls, and things hung on the walls everywhere, shelves, pictures, nicknacks, all kinds of really neat stuff. Like most basements, there was an area under and behind the stairs, there was all kinds of room, and the ceiling was high enough that you didn't get that cramped feeling that you get from being under the stairs. Anyway. Everyone else went upstairs, but there was one 'person' in the area behind the stairs still, so I went back for him. Now, I'll mention here that at this point in the dream, this 'person' wasn't so much of a person as a grey-ish humanoid shape. I went down the stairs (I had only climbed half-way up) to get him. I got to the foot of the stairs, turned right and walked past the stairs. When I was at about the half-way point of the length of the stairs, he came running up to me and was all excited. He said that I had to come and see, that it was awesome, and I had to see what he had found in Lou's house. He half-dragged me the rest of the length of the stairs and about 5 more steps, where he turned right. He told me that he had started digging to see what he could find. He had dug a hallway into the basement of the house. It was shaped just like a normal hallway, only the walls were solid dirt that didn't even flake. They were full height for a normal hallway and everything. And oddly enough, I got the same decorated impression that the rest of the basement gave off...
Anyway, we went down this long hallway, I think there were some twists and turns, and it ended with a glass wall. That's not quite right. What I mean is that the dirt walls ended and we were looking through a glass pannel of a glass wall of a lab. A lab is the closest thing I can think of to name it. Everything was either white, or sterile metal. There were all kinds of computers and machines that I wouldn't even begin to understand, and a metal staircase that led from approx. the middle of the room to the top level on our right. There were no labels on anything, but the grey thing beside me got even more excited and started telling me that we had found an underground secret lab of Microsoft's and that we had to alert the world to what they were doing. We deliberated for a little while on wheither or not we should spill the beans or just go back with everyone else. We turned to go, not yet having made a decision when we heard Lou's voice from inside the lab. We turned around, and the panel was being opened by some unnamed staff member, and we were led over to Lou and the head scientist. I don't know how I knew who he was, but I did. Lou was looking very Storm-like (from the X-Men) because her hair had gone wavey (not quite curly) and was waving gently in place all around her head, but it was up off her head... Anyway, she was wearing a white robe thing, kinda like a toga, and it was really nice looking. Out the back of her was all kinds of black tubes and they ran across the floor to some of the machines behind her. Every second or two, her whole body would twitch, like in time with her pulse. I took all that in while we walked across the room to where she stood. When we got there, she told us that Microsoft had built this lab for her because she needed so much medical attention, and she needed blood transfustions so regularly. We accepted that, and from there, the dream changed a bit.
Microsoft was the enemy. It needed to be taken out. The grey thing beside me turned into my husband John. At that point, the head scientist decided that we were all now staff of Microsoft, and put us to work at a large retail sales store directly above the lab. This store was huge, it was full of the latest, shiniest technology and there were all kinds of people that worked there. Above the store was the main HQ for Microsoft. They were evil, and their current VP was just terrible. We (Lou, Me and John) wanted to take him down, but we didn't see how. Finally (I don't know how, I got the impression that a lot of time went by, but really nothing in the scene changed) we got enough information that we could expose them to the world, and topple them from their place on high... lol Anyway, we went to meet with the VP and give him the usual threats when John up and takes the guy out. I'm not sure how, one second, he was there, Lording his victory over us, and the next, he was on the floor in a heap. The bodyguards didn't even flinch. Well, at this point, John decides that he's taking the Evil VP's place, and giving out new cell phones to all the employees. John tells me and Lou that there are tracers in the cell phones so that he knows where all the staff is in the store. Things kind of fast-track from there, and I get the impression that John was being just as evil as the other VP was. We got the things that we needed to expose John, and once again, we were in the office, giving the usual threats. Only John was expecting this. I don't remember what he did, but the next thing I know, I'm running through the store for my life, Lou is gone (I don't know if that's gone as in dead, or just disappeared). I get outside and someone, another staff, higher up than we are, was there. We had trusted this guy, he wanted Microsoft taken down too, and when he saw me burst out of the doors, running and crying, he stopped me. He gave me a hug, wiped my tears and snapped his fingers. When he snapped his fingers, two bodyguards came up and grabbed one of my arms, each. They dragged me back through the store, and then through some metal hallways like you see in some sci-fi movies to a smaller office with John in it. I realized it was the cell phones that made him find me, so I broke it in half (it was a flip phone) and removed the blue light that was the transmitter. All the while, John's giving me this speech that he won, and I lost, and then something happened, we were alone, and he was telling me that it was all a lie, he really was still a good-guy, and with me and Lou, but that he had to do all the bad things. He had to do them so that Microsoft would accept him as one of their own, and then he was going to get them from the inside.
At that, I heard "Moooooooooommmmmmyyyyyyy" and I woke up...
Interesting... lol
And on a general side note, my speach is completed, polished, and runs at 2 minutes. :D I rock. lol
