I'm A Believer

Just picture two adults and three children, all tone deaf, crammed into a blue mini-van and singing that song. Yes we really did that last night. In fact my hubby was quite ready for the distraction as older son and I got into an discussion/argument Sirius Black's character. Older son did not agree with my assessment of Black as an arrogant hypocritical bully. We then proceded to look at Black's treatment of Kreacher and compare it to Crouch's treatment of Winky. Needless to say we did not reach a consensus.

At least younger son enjoyed his B-day dinner at Olive Garden. He got half of his presents there, went home and fell asleep watching King Kong (which was one of his presents). He gets the other half tonight.

The book bags are 99% done. I've got one bottom hem that I forgot and then need to wash them.

The main plan for my lessons is written. I've got to write up the first two assignments and them break down my journal prompts, write a quick text set, and the bulk of my first unit will be done.

And the best of all: My last load of laundry (other than the book bags) is in the washing machine!
