Whoops. So much in my life has changed! Really though, all for the good. I'm a blond now (like Gwen Stefani white blond) and they say blonds have more fun so.
I've lost about sixty pounds, I'm super healthy, and I've finally had surgery on my hip which blew out at the end of last year. Almost back on skates so that's... amazing. Been skating under the name Maimy Pond (it's a Doctor Who reference) for a while and it led me to get my new skates TARDIS custom colored. My helmet is also glittery and blue!
Since 2010 I've started working for NASA and have already worked on one satellite MAVEN, scheduled to go to Mars. My next satellite OSIRIS-Rex should be rolling people on in the next six months or so. Space is, well amazing, so. I'm sure once MAVEN launches next year, I'll have an absurd amount of things to share about. No, I really could write about space forever and ever and ever.
Going to Dragon Con again this year, that's what prompted me to make some new posts on here at all. Plan to cosplay Amy Pond from Doctor Who (<3 I have my own personal Rory!) and Leeloo Dallas from the Fifth Element. (No, not the bandage suit HAH). Also have Annie Cartwright from Life on Mars (UK) and potentially Daenerys but. I don't know if the last one I care enough about to reprise from a few years ago. I'll maybe post a hand full of pictures here after the con. Or I'll forget again but we'll see.
