pumpkin pie and Yerba Mate

Let's see.

What has been accomplished today?

Absolutely nothing.

I've been staring in front of this computer for hours and nothing has come to me.

I think I'll give up writing to become a national DDR competitor.

Heh.

I'll get started writing soon enough.

I bought some tea, a gourd and a Yerba Mate sipping spoon today. The stuff is absolutely wonderful if you haven't tried it. I can't wait until it comes. Right now I'm pilfering Adriana's stash and making it right (cold water first, hon.)

I'm (pretty much) getting on top of my shit. I'm halfway through catching up for French, I got through some bills, did some banking stuff, got my scholarship files together... I just have to yell at Financial Aid tomorrow, mail off some stuff, and clean my room. Now if only I can crank out a story for Sheer Magazine I'll be content. In a French sense ("content" in French has more of a connotation of being happy/joyful). I also can't wait until my mom comes to visit. There's so much stuff I want to show her!

And Thanksgiving. I'm spending Thanksgiving in Maryland, surprisingly enough. ^_^ Yay.

I must say. All this hype about the Yankees and the Red Sox is just ridiculous. It is JUST a sports team, people. But I guess I get hyped up about Queer as Folk cast, but damn. I'm not rioting about it.

On that note--you just have to go to the right school if you want to get the same sort of reaction out of Bush's re-election. I know for sure some Obies are planning devious, naked, alcoholic things if that happens. I want to do some sort of bra removing, pamplet burning thing, but I don't think I have any willing followers. I don't know. We'll have to plan it. Because Bush will win.

Come on, guys. Unless every vote is monitored and counted, Bush will win. There will be no dancing in the streets. No bleeding of colors slowly filling the black-and-whites of the screen. No waving of rainbow-colored flags and cheerful techno music. Though, hot damn, I wish we did have that.

I'm still voting, because there are a lot of issues that I believe can be settled (Please, do NOT vote for Issue 1!). What do I have to lose from my pessimism? Nothing, if I'm wrong. Let's hope I am.

I just realized November 2nd is in less than two weeks.
