I realize I haven't put anything up in a few days, I really haven't felt up to it, and I haven't really had the time anyway. I feel bad leaving this journal so unused, but my thoughts haven't really been good to make public these last few days ( Read more... )

Be careful, Christmas is addicting. You only plan to have a christmas tree and the next thing you know you are filling orphanage christmas lists and contemplating if you can possible fit one more light on your house without it falling over or violating some housing ordinance.

I can imagine... I can't really do much in the way of lights, but a tree is more than reasonable. I apparently have a tendency to go overboard regardless, but it might be nice. This time of year is always a bit depressing to me.

Orphanage christmas lists? How interesting...

I was an orphan and I know how my holidays went. It never seems to fail that I am in America during some holiday or another so I always check in on those kids in foster homes and orphanages. I take their kids Christmas Lists and some other lists too.

I also always make sure that I have someone around with a camera so I can watch their excitement when they get something they thought they never had a chance of getting. Then I quietly disappear and plan for the next holiday.

You're quite an interesting person Uzumaki-san, if you don't mind me saying. If only everyone in this world were more charitable, we'd find ourselves in mich nicer world, I like to think. Personally, I always find that fascinating that the people who often give the most are those who overall have the least to give... I suppose that may have to do with money and greed so often going hand in hand, the more you have the more you wish to keep it, or something of that nature.

If you need any assistance, do let me know, being new to the area I wouldn't know where to even begin to look for places that might need a hand.

I have alot to give. So I do. It makes sense if I can make at least some orphan children realize they have a chance then all is well. You may as well call me Naruto. We are in the States after all honorifics confuse them.

You can help me going shopping for gifts when I get the lists and if you are good at wrapping them I could always you the extra set of hands.

Ah, yes, it does doesn't it... Very well, Naruto. I still don't understand what's so complex about our way of speech, it's not as though someone who has a dialect of slang for every city should have trouble grasping the concept of honorifics. Is Japan backwards for being too polite or is it America for being unevolved? I can't quite tell, though I suppose it depends on whom you ask. Still, I must admit, I'm beginning to like this country. I could get used to this feminism concept, empowering women and such, I daresay japanese women need a healthy dose of it. Or perhaps that's just me, I can hardly speak for the whole country ( ... )
