Sick Day
Today was a weird day for me...
I didn't go to work. This morning I woke up with a splitting headache; which really isn't all that uncommon for me and normally I'd just pop a couple of pills and suck it up, but today I also had cramps and this general feeling of yuckyness. So that overwhelming urge that I get every morning to go back to bed instead of getting ready for work actually won out today.
I spent most of the day sleeping and I'll probably be better off for it, but I still feel a bit guilty calling in sick because I know that I could've gone in and made it through the day. I may have felt yucky all day, but I could have functioned.
*facepalm* I'm such a goody two shoes...
