(no subject)
Had a great time at Sophia's Thursday to Friday. After playing Apples to Apples (excellent card game), and after David went home, we watched (in order) Sleepover, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Thirteen, and then on late morning on Friday, The Notebook. Sleepover was a middle school "adventure" movie that was fun to make fun of. Sky Captain was a very interesting sci-fi. I kind of liked it, but I don't know...it was missing something. I did like Dex, though. He was "teh awesome." Thirteen was highly disturbing in its realistic-ness. There wasn't a single character I liked at all. The sad thing is, it was based off of a true story, and there are people who exist who do things like that in the movie. I immaturely rejected it because of how grossly contradictory to my lifestyle it was, and how all the characters were in some way "bad," morally. But it was so realistic. The thirteen-year-olds were taking drugs, piercing themselves, cutting themselves, slapping each other for fun, making out with completely random people, dressing sluttily, etc. You get the point. As for The Notebook...that was extremely nostalgic, sweet, beautiful, and sad. A good movie, if a little predictable.

Phantom of the Opera on May 1st, with Sophia. Huzzah! :) I can hardly wait.
German AP Exam, May 5th. Holy guacamole. Life's gonna plummet.
--And the ever-looming DECLAMATION
I need a piece, a great piece, the best piece ever. The piece that will totally fit "me." Something dramatic. Something amusing. Preferably both. Something to blow them away. Something to exit with a tremendous *bang!* This is the last in-class declamation ever. My last chance to impress. My last chance to have fun. I can declaim anything I want - even a dialogue with someone else. My last chance.
And I have to decide by this Friday.
I have to find the perfect piece in 6 days.
Someone help me out? I will be eternally grateful.
