The evening of Pearl Love Day, in the Elven realms it was a highly respected day where lovers united, got together, and expressed their love for each other. The peal was a sacred jewel for the elves and they cherished it just as they cherished their lover and the relation between them. 'Nimphel Mela Re' it was called in their tongue. Many elves joined together and rejoiced in one large banquet together as they smiled and made merry with their friends and family. This was also a popular day when most admirers confessed to their charmer.

It was a beautiful moonlit night as a brown haired elf walked over to the balcony. He smiled. He didn't mind the cold winter breeze that brushed against his folded arms. The moon's silver beams made his emerald eyes glow. He took in a soft sigh and combed a stray strand of silk tucking it behind his elegantly pointed ear. He then watched as the stars glistened down shimmering a reflection of pale green that was swimming through his iris.

"It's quite cold to be out here all alone..."

The elf jumped a bit and turned around seeing a slightly taller blonde elf approach him. The other cocked his head and smiled.

"Why aren't you inside with all the others?" He inquired.

The other, knowing the blonde, rolled his eyes at him and returned his gaze to the open valley that the balcony over looked.

"That room is just swarming with kisses, couples, heat... I got sick of it. And how about you, Shou?"

The blonde elf, named Shou, let out a soft chuckled and shrugged walking to the other's side. He took in a deep breath of the fresh and free air that passed his way.

"Well, Hiroto, if you did not know, I happen to be quite fond of full moons..."

The other, named Hiroto, flushed slightly as his eyes moved over to Shou's. The other elf was not only slightly taller, but about a decade or so older than he was. His eyes glowed like the calming waves at sea as the deep pools of blue was just enough to make the younger elf's heart rush.

Hiroto looked away and bit his lip and giggled shyly. "Wow.... I thought I was the only one who was fairly fond of the realm over head."

Shou chuckled and leaned onto the balcony ledge resting his chin on one hand. He turned to looked at the other and smiled proudly.

"Well I guess there are some who tend to be alike in some ways..."

"And most tend to be different from others as well..." Hiroto said back as he gripped onto the wall and hopped a bit to take a seat letting his legs dangle over the edge.

Shou tilted his head and stood up making his way a little closer to Hiroto's side. His lips curled softly as a hum of agreement slipped from them. He was in a beautiful long pale blue colored robe with intricate silver patterns as the sleeves draped over his arms gracefully covering them up to his hands and wrists.  The elf's long fingers played with his blonde bangs that were hanging in front of his eyes.

"That too is true..."

Hiroto nodded and bent his arms back to grip the opposite side of the ledge behind him to ensure he was safe on the wall hanging over miles of air before being introduced to the floor beneath. The brunette elf brought one hand to the foot of his robe and tried his best to situate it instead of having it in awkward folds around his legs. He was wearing a robe similar to Shou's yet it was a pale green with pearly white patterns.

The older elf looked at the younger one who was fidgeting with his attire. Then he decided to try and help the poor thing before he toppled over and out into the open space beneath. He put his arms over the other's shoulders and leaned him back slightly. Hiroto gasped and looked up at Shou with his wide emeralds glaring at Shou.

"What on earth do you think you're doing?!"

He protested and tried to wriggle free, but Shou just hissed a 'sh' as he took hold of Hiroto's hands with one of his own as he helped pull out and set the fabric neatly over the younger one's thin legs. Shou then pulled away and chuckled softly.

"There, better now little feisty one?"

Hiroto huffed blowing a stray hair from in front of his eyes. He then rolled them and turned away flushing madly. Shou then pouted leaning his face on his folded arms looking up at Hiroto. He clicked his tongue shaking his head at the silence.

"Hm not even a 'thank you' for my assistance ne?"

Hiroto simply shook his head and didn't bother turning to look at the other. Shou shrugged and stood up straight leaning over his arms that were folded on top of the wall's edge. Hiroto touched his burning cheeks. Oh how he wanted Shou's arms around him again. It felt, well, just so nice. He felt protected and safe. And on top of that, he felt warm. Shou hummed a soft melody as silence came from the other elf.

Hiroto's eyes were on the valley shown with blue hues from the night's sky. It was sprouted with tall trees of all sorts of greens and different heights. There was a river that cut through snaking its way through the forest. The young elf's eyes wandered out looking at the beautiful setting, yet his mind was trailing off in his own fantasy of his lover one day, that is if he ever got one.

"Nimphel Mela Re....." ('Pearl Love Day' in Elvish)

The younger elf turned towards the voice. Shou was staring down at the river below. Hiroto tilted his head.

"What?"

Shou sighed and looked over at Hiroto. "Where is your lover? Shouldn't you be spending time with them?"

Hiroto simply smiled and shrugged blushing away. "I don't have one..." He simply replied reaching over to play with the point of his ear gazing over at the blonde whose blue eyes were tracing the river's shape below.

"How about yourself?"

Shou looked over at Hiroto with his eyes lighting up. The stars glittered within them making the younger's heart beat faster. Shou sighed and turned hopping up a bit taking a seat the opposite direction from the other. His eyes met the sky's gaze as he thought for a moment, and then looked back to Hiroto deep into his great emerald oceans. The blonde leaned over to the younger's ear and whispered.

"He's sitting right next to me...."

Hiroto gasped out looking at Shou with wide surprised eyes. Shou smiled and nodded taking advantage of Hiroto's shocked frozen state to pull his smaller frame into an embrace. The stiff elf didn't protest or fight this contact now. Shou smiled inhaling Hiroto's sweet scent from his hair. Hiroto shut his eyes as his arms wrapped around Shou's frame looping beneath his arms and up his back. Hiroto smiled and sighed out happily. He then pulled away slightly to look at his new lover's face.

"Shou....I-" He managed to say before his lips were stolen from the other's soft one's.

Hiroto tilted his head slightly, and that did the trick of now gluing their lips together that fitted perfectly together. Shou moved his lips around parting the other's as his tongue made its way passed Hiroto's lips finding its mate. Hiroto let out a soft moan and held onto Shou's shoulders closing the gap between them. The older let his lips brush against Hiroto's softly as he pulled away smiling gazing into the green eyes lovingly. Hiroto panted and felt very warm now. He let out a soft chuckle.

"I-"

"Hush now Love...." The blonde elf whispered putting a finger up to the other's plump lips. He then pouted shyly and tilted his head as Shou held him in his arms again.

The chilly winter breeze caressed their bodies and Hiroto shivered slightly. The taller elf looked down at his lover.

"You're cold... shall we head on inside?"

The brunette elf nearly melted in Shou's voice that flowed like a melody enveloping his heart away. He merely nodded in reply. Shou smiled and let go of his lover standing on the balcony floor. Hiroto turned around, yet his God-forsaken robe wrapped around and tangled his legs once more. He huffed and Shou couldn't help but let a chuckle slip from his lips. He opened his arms scooping his lover into his arms. Not surprisingly, Hiroto was as light as a feather.

"Oh my dear heart, you got caught in your robe again, didn't you?" Hiroto looked away timidly and nodded fixing it to cover the inner lining.

"I think I have Love..."

The blonde grinned and kissed the other's forehead. "Melin le~" ('I love you' in Elvish)

The brunette smiled as a tint of pink flooded his face up to the tips of his ears. He giggled leaning over placing a soft kiss on Shou's cheek.

"Melin le, Shou~"

Shou nuzzled Hiroto's nose with his own and smiled. "Winter nights are cold... do you know how to keep warm with a new lover like me?"

The other simply tilted his head, knowing what it was, but acted innocent and put a finger to his chin. "Oh? I do not know Dearest, and how is that?"

The blonde chuckled and walked inside cradling his pearl in his strong arms. There was a room flooded with all kinds of couples, some smooching, some talking, some giggling, and others playing games with each other. None of them noticed Shou and Hiroto heading over and out into the great hall of chambers that were already set up for every guest.

Shou made his way to his chamber and smiled down at his lover. "Mmm my sweet, welcome to my room..."

Hiroto giggled and took a looked around. He nodded approvingly. "Fairly nice~"

He sang out gazing at the room that had a lot of beautifully crafted furniture and a fairly large bed in the middle of the far wall ahead of them. The blonde smirked as he kicked the door shut behind the two and lied Hiroto down on the large bed.
