The place was thrown down. Everything was out of place. Shou walked in and rushed around trying to find Kai in the rooms calling for his older brother. Hiroto looked around as well, he was in charge of checking the kitchen and living area. He hoped nothing bad had happened. His heart was pounding so fast inside his chest he could feel it through his skin. He then heard someone out on the balcony. He went to go see who it was. When Hiroto got to the sliding door, he stopped and with wide eyes looked at the bloody figure before him.
"KAI!" Hiroto called and opened the door stepping out slowly. Kai merely turned his head to see Hiroto and sighed standing on the balcony railing. His wings were now graceful and full size with his feathers flowing in the wind.
"Hello Hiroto... okairi...." He replied softly.
The human walked towards the black haired and looked up at him. "W-what happened?"
Within a few moments Shou came running outside and pulling Kai off the balcony rail. "KAI-NI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Kai sighed and looked off to the side. "I-I don't know Shou... I- they.... You need to get out of here.... both of you...." He said looking at Shou and then Hiroto.
"But you're not safe here!"
The other angel looked at the younger one and stood up straight holding Shou's shoulders. "No! YOU'RE not safe here! Shou, you need to get yourself and Hiroto out of this place. I don't think you guys can hold out long enough.... I tried my best to hold you guys out for a while, but now.... the Dark Angels have grown a little stronger and I can't handle them all by myself..."
Shou furrowed his eyebrows and huffed. "Then I'll kill them all! I'll protect you and Hiroto.... I can do this!" Kai shook his head and looked at Hiroto. "It's all up to you.... I know you're not ready, and you can't force your body to relax itself... I want you and Shou to run from this place... out of this city.... don't worry, I'll take care of Nao, Saga, and Tora.... Please... for Shou's sake..." The brunette was flushing with tears forming in his eyes. Shou was totally against leaving Kai so he finally spoke out. "Who's going to take care of you hm?"
Kai looked at Shou and simply showed him a soft smile. "You're so silly... I have Nao here to help me as well...." The blonde angel shook his head again. "Kai-ni! I can't leave you here to die!"
The older angel took in a sigh and looked at Shou. "I tried to let you do this on your own... but I guess I'll have to do this myself..." Shou's eyes were on Kai as his brother put his hands on his and Hiroto's shoulder. He shut his eyes and began to chant a few words shutting his eyes.
Pretty soon Shou was beginning to fade into his own world of darkness as he glanced over at Hiroto who had already been sent to darkness. Shou son gave in and let Kai's powers take over. It was only but a few moments, and Shou opened his eyes looking around seeing his old home of heaven. He smiled feeling happy for some reason. He then turned around trying to find Hiroto. When he didn't see the human by his side he gasped and ran everywhere to find him.
There were no other angels to help him find Hiroto. No one was with him. He screamed out Hiroto's name, but no answer came his way. He then realized he was all alone. He was deserted. Tears rolled off his lashes as he ran from place to place trying to find his lover. But none of it was any good. He cried out again and soon he felt a pair of hands around his shoulders.
A few moments later he could hear Hiroto's soft voice calling him back. His eyes then opened as he was greeted back to the world by a gentle glance of worry. Shou looked up into Hiroto's eyes and reached over hugging him tightly. Hiroto sighed and patted Shou's head.
"Shhh... Shou it's all going to be okay ne?" He smiled softly stroking Shou's hair and patting his back.
As soon as Shou recollected himself, he looked around and they were in an mansion of some kind with all their things laid out that was all so oddly familiar to Shou. The angel titled his head and wondered how long he was knocked out. He rubbed his eyes. The day's sun was already sinking beneath the horizon. Shou heard waves outside. Sea gulls passed over their ceiling. He could see them too, the ceiling portion that was made of glass, a strong glass Shou hoped. He took hold of Hiroto's hands and looked at him worriedly.
"W-where are we? H-How long was I gone?" Hiroto bit on his lip and shrugged. "I just woke up from a dream and we ended up here... m-maybe Kai sent us here..." Hiroto hugged Shou. "Shou.... I-I'm scared..."
The angel smiled and looked at Hiroto kissing his cheek. "Just as long as I know you're here with me. Nothing will go wrong... I'll protect you." Hiroto blushed and let out a soft giggled. "Ne... let's go see where we are ne?"
He asked getting up and taking Shou's hand into his own as they walked around to explore their new home. Hiroto tiled his head. It was rather large and extravagant. Though it was only one story, Hiroto's eyes were large with excitement. Shou smiled at his innocent lover. "Aww Shou! It's just beautiful!" He smiled opening his arms and spinning in the large dining room.
The angel simply followed his lover and explored the place. It finally came back to him. This was his home from when he was younger, before his mother took them to the heavens. Tears ran close to his eyes as he smiled. Hiroto stopped his frolicking and looked at his lover. "Shou!" He said as he ran up taking Shou's hands into his own.
"Are you okay?" Shou chuckled and wiped his tears clumsily. "Hai... it's just... this was my old house from when I was younger..." He smiled.
"Oh Hiroto, this is just the most wonderful place ever!" Hiroto smiled and kissed Shou's lips softly as the sun's light faded. Hiroto gasped when he pulled away and lights flickered on. There was a large chandelier hanging from over the dining table. Hiroto blushed. It was like walking into a drama scene. And yes, he was a guilty one for watching romance dramas, but he didn't care. He held Shou's hands and took in a sigh as Shou smirked scooping the smaller body into his arms bridal style.
Hiroto yelped and smiled timidly. One of his arms draped over Shou's shoulder as the other touching Shou’s cheek. "Well... shall we head over to the kitchen and fix something to eat now?"
The human simply giggled and nodded as his angel walked him over to the kitchen setting him down on the marble counter. "Hai... well you just wait right there and I'll see what I can fix ne?" Hiroto tilted his head and nodded perching his elbows on his knees and resting his chin on his hands.
It was a good twenty to thirty minutes and Shou finished cooking. Hiroto smiled and opened his mouth as Shou fed him a spoon of his pasta. Hiroto chewed it for a bit and swallowed. Shou anticipated for a reaction as Hiroto smiled. "Mmm oishi!" Shou smiled and nodded. "Want more?" Hiroto giggled and nodded as Shou handed him a bowl. But, Shou decided to spoon feed the brunette even though he protested.
After they ate and cleaned up, Shou walked Hiroto around the house showing him where everything went. Hiroto smiled. Thanks to Kai, the whole place was prepared for their arrival. He tilted his head wondering when Kai did plan for them to leave to the mansion. He shrugged as Shou tilted his head looking back at Hiroto. "Hai... well our tour ends here..." Hiroto looked around gaping at the large white bathroom. Shou chuckled. "A bath would be nice for us ne?"
Hiroto giggled and folded his arms looking at Shou. "I think you can bathe by yourself..." Shou pouted. "Aww... but you are always with me... plus I'm not used to it!" Hiroto chuckled at that and sighed. "Well get used to it! I'm going to go and-"
"You're leaving me?!" Shou pouted. Hiroto laughed. "Aww fine.. my shower turn first then..." Shou shrugged. "Fine... but I get to watch!" Hiroto gasped "WHAT?!"
Shou nodded. "Well I never bathed by myself, so I'll need an example..." Shou smiled innocently. Hiroto rolled his eyes. "You're hopeless..." Shou pouted. "Hey! Remember why you're here with me!" And with that the blonde pulled the shorter boy into an embrace looking in his eyes. Hiroto was flushing as he smiled. "Mou.... how about you shower and I'll take a bath ne?" Shou pouted shaking his head. Hiroto sighed. "Mou fine! You're such a little baby..."
The angel smiled in victory. "But you know you love me!" Hiroto rolled his eyes ignoring the statement.
It was within an hour or so and their bath time was finished. Hiroto got out wrapping the towel around his hips. Shou was in the same attire as well as they headed over to the bedroom to get their clothes on. Although Hiroto was not sure if Kai even packed his clothes or left any for him. Shou smiled heading over to the drawer. "Hai!"
Hiroto looked at Shou who handed him a pair of neatly folded pajamas. Hiroto smiled. "Ne... are you sure these are mine?" Shou nodded. "Hai! I know it is yours..." he pointed to the drawer. "This was made for my future lover... and well... here you are!"
The brunette raised one eyebrow and smiled shaking his head. "Hai..." He got dressed with Shou and as soon as they finished, Shou pouted lying next to Hiroto on the bed.
"Ne Pon....?" Hiroto looked over at his lover. "Nani?"
The angel sighed. "Never mind..." He turned over and hugged the blankets to his chin. Hiroto pouted and sighed snuggling closer to Shou. "Mou... oyasumi... "
Shou smiled and shut his eyes as he and Hiroto fell asleep.
