my computer died!!
My computer has decided to take the plunge. I was happily playing Bejeweled and listening to Christmas songs while talking on the phone with Howie (I can multitask! haha) on Saturday evening when all of a sudden the computer shuts off. I thought the power went off but noooo.. My light was still on. Tried unplugging and plugging the computer back on but nope, still didn't want to turn on. Grrrrrrr.. Later that night my cousin checked on it and said I probably blew my power source. Eh? Too much multitasking? Now it's being fixed at Computer Boulevard. Hope I get it back soon.. and don't lose everything in my hard drive. I'll CRY if my Hawaii pictures are gone since I haven't burnt them yet.. Didn't realize how dependent I am with the computer until it's GONE. Oh well, that gives me time to concentrate on my other project. Knitting!! I'm knitting Howie a scarf for Christmas (if I get it done within a month) but I can't get past the first slip knot. The pictures in the book aren't helping! HELPPPPPPPPP.. I can't cast the first row. How pathetic.... =(
My company's Christmas party is December 8 at Inn at the Forks. Haven't decided if I'll go yet. But why Thursday? We'll be hung over at work the next day. Good reason to call in sick. kekee..
Oh yes, Toronto was great as always. 3 days zoomed by so fast. All I did was eat.. Friday was pho for lunch, hot pot for dinner.. Saturday was congee for lunch, Euthopian food for dinner.. Sunday was wontons for lunch, sushi for dinner.. yum! His friends have so many things planned for the next few weeks for Christmas, too bad I can't be there too. Maybe it's a good thing.. all of it includes FOOD. This will be the first year spending Christmas in Toronto. I don't know what to expect... For sure I'll be missing the past ones in Vancouver... Exactly 1 month today I'll be heading back for 13 days this time! Yippieeee
I need to get a new digital camera. I'm thinking of Canon.. Any suggestions??
