funny how this worked out
sorry for the two-month update-break.. that completely wasn't on purpose I promise. things just got busy. here's a brief rundown of my entire summer (or well.. everything after may 15 when I last updated)..
end of school: that seems like a forever ago. end of junior year. sweet. now we're SENIORS! CLASS OF 2006! this year's going to rock hardcore guys. get ready.
week 1: new marcher fundamentals.. self explanitory.
week 2: p1 camp.. last one ever. pretty cool minus my car getting hit at a stoplight and having a showdown in my front yard.
sunday after p1 camp: got a job at palais royal! yay! a job!.. right? I guess it's pretty sweet how I ended up $1000 richer at the end of the summer, but I worked non-stop, 40-hour weeks to get it. we had lots of associate problems- like 7 of our 14 people leaving in the past month (2 of which were managers). no one really left because of company problems- mostly just going back to school or getting more permanant jobs. the place is really nice to work at- nice people, good atmosphere, oh yea and a discount! so fyi.. anything I buy over the next 2 year will be from there! don't worry, they got good stuff. ;)
so that was pretty much my entire summer. no vacations. very little scrapbooking (I haven't even finished disney yet-- no prom or banquet! maybe it'll randomly get done during the year sometime..), and didn't see many friends. or at least it seemed like it. so much for *WOO SENIOR SUMMER '05!* psh.. whatever. it doesn't phase me.
definately one of the best parts of the summer: thanks to 1/3 awesome CHIEF: DCI. OMG. that was freaking incredible. next year, guys we're totally going to san antonio, only after we volunteer again here. it was so freaking incredible and so much fun. I'm joining a drum corp. only problem is there were a lot of gay guys. like madison scouts- I had a freaking hyper-ventilation attack. it was SOO GROSS. seriously. really bad. but that's ok because their show was freaking incredible.. so they're cool!
now summer band has started. kinda weird, yet I'm adjusted. our music rocks hardcore.. and being on top.. a SENIOR.. and a DI.. it's pretty cool. I'm looking forward to it. mr. bailey is cool too. and mr. z! (jen/z! his real name is mr. zastopil or something weird like that but instead he's called mr. z! for short) oh.. yea.. *he's so cute!* <--that's for danny. I'm excited.. it's gonna be great.
I'm actually kinda looking forward to school starting. last year. I guess because it seems like a break from my life right now, just because I work so much. I don't know how 6 AP classes will be a break.. but we'll see. and I still need to finish my summer reading..
will update again before 2.5 months. promise.
