Hiya, guys. I still read all your journals, i just don't post in my own.
the new year is going well for me. the job is all right, though this last week has been pretty discombobulated in every aspect of life--one of those weeks where nothing quite settles right. it's bitterly cold, and that's always a bit off-putting, but i'm surviving. all my christmas gifts arrived in two big boxes on wednesday, and i am reveling in the glory of sharp knives (kitchen knives, you crazies...)
i bought myself an expensive camera to keep up with my new year's resolution, which is to take at least one picture every day. the camera is a canon digital rebel xsi (450d, for you non-americans). i am totally in love with it, and dangerously enamoured of this very expensive hobby...so without further ado, i present to you all my humble flickr page, the name of which i definitely copied from lisa (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!): dayvayen
it only has six pictures right now. please don't be too harsh, i am just learning.
i should eat dinner. good thing i have leftovers.
it's really, really cold in this basement apartment.
