part of me wanted to pull you close next to me
feel your body up against mine
the heat radiating off of you
i loved the feeling of us laying there together
on the bed watching a movie
laughing smiling having fun
but the other part of me
knows it will never be
it cant be
your one of my best friends
almost like a brother
always watching out for me
being careful to never hurt me
she layed on the other side of me
trying so hard to get your attention
you finally gave her the attention i wish you hadnt
and next thing i know shes wearing your hat,
and i layed there alone
