hopes destroyed.....again
well, i used to have great plans to bring in the new year, but they were destroyed twice. my first plan was to go up to my mom's house, todd and his friend would drive over, and we'd hang out with a few of my best friends; bowling, movie, drinking, and such. then, the snow storm hit and made it impossible for me to go up there. so, todd, in his moments of wonder, said that he and leslie would still drive, but this time to sacramento. that way, we'd hang out with my sister or whatever; bowling, movie, drinking, and such. everything was going to work out. this morning todd called and said that the weather would still permit their departure. then, he called me an hour later at 1pm, and told me that the road was closed (hwy 299) due to really bad snow and that I80 had only 1 lane open, so it was off. they couldn't come. such despair i am feeling. i'm so pissed, i was really looking forward to seeing todd. i hate when i get my hopes up because they're almost always knocked down.
