Is great. One of the most imiginative and ingenious concepts for a science fiction film in years this film is also brilliantly depicted, a real intelligent imaginaing of what would happen if Alien life crashalnded in South Africa.
The South Afircan setting adds a unique and grimy flavour. This is not the Hollywood setting of so many science fiction films. The protagoanis is also an anti-hero who does many dishnourable things and is playedi n an amazing performance by new comer Pete Sharlot. It never rams the apartheid theme in your face but more aims to show how people are truly the villains. Its also really gory for a mainstream film with some nice body horror in there (im not going to say Cronenberg its too obvious)!
