So that's it... it's completely official now... MY SISTER IS ENGAGED! A wedding isn't planned for the immediate future, but it's all for real now. She said "yes" today. I'm beyond ecstatic; today there was an engagement/birthday party for her and I could barely hold back from crying until the ride back to my mom's house when it just didn't matter anymore. No one on this planet has ever been closer and more important to me than my sister I think, ever since we were babies. I can tell for sure that she's happy and that she's doing the best thing, and there's not much more that I can do. Even told her new fiancee that as long as they've been together I've never even considered kicking his ass. That's a pretty good compliment because as passive and shy as I may be there is nothing I wouldn't do to look out for my sister, and I'm really, really happy about Vince making that proposal.
