So, for a commanding 0.15% of probability:

99.85%. That's how sure I am of what I want to do. Go to college, become a licensed History teacher, and teach high school. Boring, but I love history and I do like teaching kids. Especially older ones.

Now... for that .15%... I, as a young male who will live forever (so far, so good), want to prove my worth in something much greater than myself. Since I failed miserably in the Marines, working so hard and got so far, to get to the very end and get so close, and then have a mountain shit on me, I've decided that I still really want to be an infantryman. However, since I cannot rejoin the enlisted Marines, and I don't wanna be a dickhole officer, my most logical plan to pursue this career is France's very own French Foreign Legion. The LF is a highly trained branch of the French Army that has all foreign legionnaires, pays twice as much as the American military, and is full of a lot of the same camaraderie as the Marines, since the men fight for each other, not France. Survival rate in the LF isn't very high, something like 40% get wounded at least once, and 10% wont survive the first tour. However, they do a lot more grunt work than what America will ever let their Marines do. They're hardy, strong minded individuals who work together, fight enemies (and usually the French officers for supplies, food, you know... basic shit) and learn French. A very romantic language, I know, but at this point all I know is that everything said in French translates into "I surrender." I thought about this last year, then I got the job at camp and decided against it. Hmm... I don't know. It's a weight on my mind, at least.
