Kolomyia is a magical corner of the natural Carpathian landscape. Kolomyia is located in the southeastern part of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, halfway between Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, just between mountain ski resorts. Due to its favorable location, the city received from tourists very aptly title of "Gateway to the Carpathians".
