Mexico?

Hola amigos,

I've just been offered a summer travel scholarship to Cuernavaca, Mexico.  Anyone in Mexico right now?  Should I accept it, or is it just too dangerous health-wise, politically, etc?

I studied in Mexico last summer and I loved every moment of it.  I would go back in a heartbeat, but I (and especially my parents) are hesitant for me to accept the scholarship.  Are things as bad as the American press makes them out to be?
