Hi guys... I'm Margie, currently a junior at UC Davis, and I'm going to study abroad in the UK for the 2006-2007 school year. I don't know where exactly I go, but my top choice is RHUL (Royal Holloway Univ. of London) and if not that then University College Dublin.
Anyway, I'm really nervous about going... I'll know sometime next quarter where I got in, but I'm still getting used to the idea. I tend to get homesick VERY easily, and I'm also really worried about leaving my boyfriend (we've been dating for over a year now) and family. I won't leave until September, so I have a while, haha... but I figured I'd join now and start getting a feel for things. I'll probably check the memories to see if any of the stuff I'm worried about is there (like I already checked for cell phones, although I totally don't understand what some of the entires are talking about, lol... oh well, I'll worry about that later).
Has anyone else studied abroad at RHUL and could tell me anything I might want to know? And for that matter, has anyone else gone as a senior and graduated immediately upon returning (I plan to do so... I've already completed my major so I can just take fun classes in England). I went to the UK when I was 16 for three weeks, so I SORT of know what I'm getting into... but I'm still insanely nervous.
