Funny to hang out with old friends you've known for years and years.... all of your teenage life, up til now in your twenties. Then all of a sudden the one you always thought was hot and never had the guts to hit on or step to becomes your inseparable other half. Then becomes your boyfriend. Nothing has ever felt like this. I've known him forever. I've never been so comfortable, never been treated so well. He's always been my friend. Now he's my lover, my boyfriend, completely the other half of me.
Time and the universe did what it did between us all these years because we had to be prepared for now. We never got real close all these years, and we never even flirted before. Now is supposed to be our time. Fate works in weird ways.
So much of what I was against has become what I'm all about. He brings out the best in me, and washes away my negativity.
What a wonderful couple of weeks it has been. I can't imagine anything getting better than this, but every single day, it does.
