mid-fic (?) update
Hi! Not dead! Just working on this one Pudge fic, still. It's up over 35K words and I've almost got him done in Florida. I know, I know. I'm thinking I might heavily gloss over New York just to get it done faster. And really, would anyone miss his brief interlude as a Yankee? It's all about Posada over there anyways. Right? Right.
So this stupid fic plus a variety of work-ish things have combined to mostly keep me off LJ. Sorry if I've missed anything vital, hope you're all doing well, I fucking well hope there's been baseball writing going on in my absence, etc.
I know I don't talk much about real life things over here but I should probably also mention that I got engaged a little while back. Uh, so, yeah. It's pretty cool. We're not planning to get properly married any time too soon, but we've already agreed that it can't interfere with any major Tigers, Red Sox, or Cubs games.
Anyways, just wanted to drop a post because I realized I hadn't done so since, um, August. My goal at the moment is to get this beast done before 2010, and then never write another word about Pudge Rodriguez again. Like I said I'd never write another fic this long after Front offices, right? Sigh.
