but school is winding to a close, and you know how that is. Mueller/Tek: Awwww. That is all kinds of cute. Captain Tek taking care of one of his boys, Billy's devotion to the game no matter what, Tito going all mother hen and shooing him home . . . Awww.

A-Rod - thing: Hee. I see we had the same idea about Tino and Derek giving Alex TEH ANGST. I love how your Tino's showing signs of being a total bitch, though. Considering that I was already sick of him five minutes into the season, thanks to the ESPN announcers all but reading him poetry and calling him Grand King Master of the World whenever he did anything on Openng Day, I find that particular characterization very amusing.

(By the way, remember how I was telling you about my friend Amanda? The one who just needed the slightest of nudges to join the Baseball RPS Side of the Force? Well: *NUDGE*. She finally caved last night. =D We've got another one!!)

And yeah, Tino's probably perfectly nice, but it's hard to not want to write him as a little bitch with the way he's been hyped.

i come to this late, but i wanted to comment on the whole tino/derek/alex thing. i imagined alex feeling the same way with tino coming back and being all "bff" with derek again, and i loved this so far. you really captured the yankee fans' feeling in the boston home opener. ;P and tino/derek is HOT, so. continue this, por favor!
