S'all Kyle Farnsworth's fault, the Atlanta business. He had to go ahead and get traded there, and I would still follow his progress, and notice how the Braves are all brand new rookies in untold numbers, and old old vets, and everyone grew up a Braves fan on that team, practically. It's sick how easy they are to love.

I liked the running mini-subplot with the rooks, because they are awwwtastic.

I'm a big fan of your characterizations of both Farns and Huddy. Surprise of surprises to me, that I like your Farns way more than I like your Huddy, personality-wise. But whoo for new Huddy fic, for one. And Farns fic, for two.

I know the subplot with the rookies doesn't really go anywhere, except to show Hudson what he can't have, I guess, but I left it in there.

If someone can explain to me why I write Farnsworth fic from everyone ELSE'S perspectives, that would be cool. Why don't I write from his perspective? I've already got him living in my head? Mysteries.

I think the rookies subplot works just fine for that purpose, so I'm glad you left it in, if you were ever thinking about cutting it. I especially liked this instance from when Kyle's spinning his yarn about the two groupies: Francoeur is rubbing his thumb surreptitiously over the point of McCann’s hip, and Hudson is across the room tying and untying his cleats, over and over, not noticing.

I'm not sure why you never write Farns!perspective in your fics. Maybe cause you get that out of your system with the player journal, so when you get to working on a story, you naturally want to come at him from another angle? **shrugs** You know what they say. All's well that ends in filthy baseball porn ^_~

Yeah, I dunno. I've got Robertson/Farns, and Maroth/Farns (two stories) and now Huddy/Farns, and not a one of them from Kyle's point of view. The only one I've written from his side is the bloody deer-killing one, and that's not properly slash, really. Weird.

Surprised at enjoying the groupie scene. Not because it's kind've het (which I like, generally!) but because the culture of groupie skeeves me a little, but it really worked in the context of the story, and also the ending lines were pleasing. Oh dear.

So, I really enjoyed this all in all, but man, I gotta say, the phrase "the penis barrier" kind of rules all. I snorted a little!

I was very unsure about the groupie scene... I wasn't intending to write it, but it sort of happened. I don't know, something about more than one guy with a girl at once, and how do they ignore each other? There must be some gay tension going on, especially for some... acts. That involve, ah, penile proximity. Anyways, it's always fascinated me in so far as I've ever thought about it, and I guess it was just a matter of time before it made it into one of my fics in some way or another. Ah well.

You know the penis barrier exists! And some dudes just have to be coached past it. :P

omg, dude, i love this, and you made us wait hella long for it, but it was soooo worth it. i love it. i love the rookie subplot and i love the wedding ring (as you knew i would) and dude, penis barrier is now one of my away messages, as you well know. it was just fantasmic. i also like that farns doesn't say he doesn't do men, he just doesn't do married men, 'cause a boy's gotta have standards, right? right. the scene with the groupie was kind of creepy in a hot way. like, huddy fucking the girl and thinking, "you coulda had this," waaaay fucked up in a good good way. everyone knows the chick is just a conduit to gaysex.

okay so maybe this wasn't as incoherent as i thought it would be. line-by-line will come once i get home from school.
