How does one get banned from Livejournal?
Well since my comment about being on Livejournal for roughly three years, and the mention of my being banned originally, a few people who weren't there for the fiasco have asked...
"why...how do you get banned from livejournal?"
so I decided I'd come up with an instruction manual:
1) make blatantly offensive and racist statements (almost got banned for this one because somebody took my questions about affirmative action the wrong way)
2) harass other members of livejournal to the extent that they report you (I didn't do this)
3) child porn (well, depends on how you look at child porn. I was under the age of 18. ha.)
4) put people's actual names and/or their actual screen names in an entry -- especially ones who need to feel power over you, and decide that they will threaten to sue you for the fact that you used their name and called them stupid. This is officially what I got banned for; The kid ended up e-mailing livejournal officials or whatnot threatening to remove me from livejournal or he'd sue them. I refused to take his name off because I thought the whole thing was ridiculous. I still think so.
