Today was quite a day!
So we had the year end reward breakfast today. I won an award. I will receive a pin and am now a member of the "Magic Circle". Bob is now calling it the Harry Potter Pin. I consider it an acknowledgement of being a runner up for the NM Best award. Regardless, an award for my hard work.
Work has been crazy lately. The fall season is upon us and all the special orders are coming in all at once. The salespeople are more insane than usual and all the fitters are acting like primadonnas. It gets kind of frustrating. A lot of juggling. I am off this weekend so I am happy about that. There have been some big car accidents this last week and I have spent more time in my car than at home. When i got home tonight my neighbor was in my driveway to first ask if I would sew patches on their boys scout uniform and oh join our neighbors in our driveway for drinks. We did and I had a nice time. They have only been here a year and we haven't spent any time with any of them. So hopefully that will change now.
I was sick a couple days this week. Feeling better today and looking forward to just chilling this weekend. The Steelers are in houston this weekend. yeah football. Speaking of sports we altered some suits for some of the Florida Marlins baseball team. They promised me tickets and autographed baseballs for doing the work quickly but they didn't follow through on their promises. Baseball players are not to be believed or trusted.
Our friend Dan got engaged and will be getting married in a couple months. I am so excited! It means that our friends from PA may come down here to visit. I am so looking forward to that. Well, I am pretty beat so I will close now. I hope all is well with everyone else. I miss you all lots.
