it finally rains
ya hooo!!!! Although it flooded the streets. And one of the things I hate about houston is that no one here can drive in weather. I grew up with snow storms and downpours and things still flowed. Here everyone turns into a snail and it takes forever to get anywhere. It is crazy. My plants are happy though. And the temps dropped about 20 degrees for about 4 hours. now we are just waiting to see where Emily goes. I am sure we will have a hurricane here this summer. We are prepared though. Plus we are inland enough it is just that there is no drainage here. it always floods.
Bob wants to move to France. One of the guys here is transferring there and he wanted to know if I would consider going there too? It is a big thing. I am just getting used to speaking/hearing Spanish. Learning Russian, Greek, and Vietnamese. Can I handle one more language? The part that freaks me out is that when I was young I used to call my father PaPa and would tell him that one day I planned to have french kids. It could happen if we moved to France and I had kids there. Weird. I will keep all posted to any changes in our life plans. For now I think we are stuck in TX. I still don't have a passport.
We are still hoping to come North in August. So we hope to see everyone if/when we come up there. We miss everyone so much.
