yet another text book query

Ok, so I'm apparantly a little behind technologically and I need to order my books asap. I hear that half.com is the primo place for finding text books since it's cheaper than the au store, but I'm have a difficult time finding anything. Anyone care to explain how it works//how you know you're getting the right edition? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
