I am going to tell you straight off that this post contains no spoilers whatsoever. I am not some asshole that takes joy in ruining a book for others.
So without further ado, a short recap of my life so far this summer--since I haven't posted in god knows how long.
I am living in the Highlands, I have a job at the Highlands Kroger Pharmacy that I really enjoy, my hair is the most kick-ass shade of red, and I just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 12 hours!!!!!
I started reading it on Saturday at 6 pm and finished this morning at almost 6 am. I think that is a record for me. All I am going to say for the moment is that I am really glad that I went ahead and bought the hardback (I normally wait for the paperback b/c I'm cheap). Very good book. That is all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
Life has been pretty decent this summer so far. I am renting out a room until I move back to school in August and I am really enjoying my stay here. Speaking of Moving back into school, Let's just say that I found out that Res. Life has screwed me again. Last semester when all of the housing stuff was going on Lauren and I tried to talk to Res. Life about moving into the 21 apartments that are next to campus. We were told that they were no longer and option and settled on living in Anni. Well I talked to a friend today and was told that the apartments are indeed an option thanks to the overbooking of rooms yet again. You would think these people would learn how to count beds and know how many they can fill. I emailed the director and am hoping to hear back from her tomm. about the whole mess. I would really really really really (you get the point) want to live in an apartment this year. It is just getting to the point that the dorms irk me. Maybe it's just because a lot of people I know have already moved out and I just wish I had the option. I mean don't get me wrong, I really enjoy being around some of the people in the dorms. I also don't want to part ways with my gerbil at the end of the summer and I know they aren't technically allowed in the apartments, but less people will know and probably care than if I tried to sneak her into the dorms. ....So maybe things will sort themselves out.
What else is there to mention about this summer? hmmmm.....
-Nick has a house with Tony & Devin. It's big and great and I'm very jealous.
-My hair is indeed very red. It was a botched pink, but I got someone to fix it and now it rocks! I have also picked up the nickname of 'Tonks' from the HP series. It's starting to grow on me.
-I have to talk 20 hours in the fall to get all of my classes completed by graduation in May. I am going to be a mess. Yet another reason not to be in the dorms--I might go crazy and go off on people. lol.
I can't think of anything else right now. If I do you may actually get two posts out of me this summer. *gasp*
