Final Countdown to Halloween
Got a piece of my Halloween costume in the mail today. I must say I'm impressed with how nice it looks in person. Very happy that I found the one place online that still had it.
The other piece I ordered should show up Monday.
There are other pieces I'd like to have, but buying them would be ill-advised for numerous reasons. (I honestly could easily spend many hundreds of dollars on Halloween any given year.) So I'll make due with what I have.
This weekend I'll be cleaning up around the apartment a bit... now that its back down to just my stuff, I have no way left to justify not rearranging, sorting, and purging some stuff. I think I'll finally get rid of all the old computer innards I've been saving for the past 15 or so years.
If all the cleaning goes well, I may do more than toy with the idea of having a small, metaphysically-flavored get together here a week from now (30 October, Friday). It's been a couple of years since I've done something like that. Way too long.
Closer in, time-wise, Saturday I'll be out at Spellbound for the big celebration there. Bunches of people coming out, you should, too.
Sunday is the last day of the MD Ren Faire. The infamous Day of Wrong. I plan on being there... once I figure out the logistics of the ride out and back.
And then Monday is back into the grind and the final countdown to Halloween. That's when things always get more interesting.
