Yay! Weekend!
Had an impromptu get-together with a bunch of RIT alumni last night.
My buddy PJ and his partner in crime were spinning through town to shoot an interview for a documentary they're working on and, thanks to Facebook status updates, I was able to catch up with them... and the handful of other people who came out of the woodwork to do the same. Dinner at the Macaroni Grill in Silver Spring, spent mostly listening to them all talk about the film projects they're involved in.
Kinda awesome.
In my previous years down here, I fell in mostly with DJs and computer security people. Now it seems on well on my way to running with a film-flavored crowd (thanks in no small part to everyone I met on the Browncoats: Redemption set.
Now if only I could get myself to focus on one project of my own for any length of time... ;) (Actually, it's just fine... I kind of like helping out others with their projects... they always seems more impressive than anything I've come up with.)
Tonight I'll be having gore_whore_5 and spirit_o_fire over for dinner before we all (including corpse_light) head down into DC for the Mohawk Adam fueled goth fest at Spellbound.
I expect it to be an interesting night. I'm feeling feisty. :)
