My Saturday is over-full
There is a plethora of stuff to do this Saturday. Sadly, I want to do a lot of it but it all overlaps. Here's a rundown for anyone else interested in what's up:
Capital Pride parade - Always a fabulous time with awesome people. Really good for photos (though mine from last year weren't the greatest.)
Artomatic Meet the Artists Night. From 7 to 9 p.m. most of the artists should be by their art. A good chance to chat with the talented and creative people who are displaying their stuff there. I was really hoping to make this as I haven't caught up with some of the artists I know to tell them how awesome their displays are.
Spellbound, I'm always a little bummed when I miss it. Even more so when I know some of my favorite DJs are going to be spinning and some people I haven't seen in a while are going to be there.
So what am I making it to?
I'm heading out to College Part to catch the closing night of Measure for Measure presented by The Rude Mechanicals. Then, if all goes as planned, spending some quality time with my actor friends I don't see anywhere near enough at the inevitable cast party that will follow.
I'm sure there's more going on (like a few movies and who knows what else) that I'd also like to be at. But since I still can't even manage to be in two places at once, let alone four, I'm not even going to bother looking.
I need a teleporter and a time machine. That's the only way this'll work the way I want it to. :(
