Not great, could be worse...
The pain continues.
I think I was running around a bit too much after thehefner's performance last night, my knees absolutely hated me today. They're definitely swollen and painful.
Today both wrists also decided to swell a bit, right around that bone on the outside--you know, the one that always bumps into things. Ow.
Now, my feet are 99% back to good... aside from the swelling on the left one, but I'm pretty sure now that that's unrelated to the shoe problems I thought this was when I started.
So, tonight/tomorrow I dive in a bit to the search for a doctor. I haven't been to a doctor for anything (of my own) in at least 16 or so years. And that last trip was just a physical for college. By far, this is the most persistent and potentially serious thing I've had weasel its way into my body.
Can't say I like that very much.
But, I'm not an invalid yet... so plans continue to be made and I hobble along.
Tomorrow is a game night with blindtillnow and company. Saturday is gaming with dallendoug and then Spellbound that night.
If things continue as they have been, that'll all mean that I won't have much choice other than spending a good hunk of Sunday in bed and in pain. But it'll be worth it, damnit. (But, hey! Oscars on Sunday!)
Next week, probably an actual doctor appointment at some point. And a Refresh DC meeting on Wednesday. Maybe something else, depending on other things that may (or may not) happen between now and then.
Ooo! And, as an extra added bonus, getyourown will be rolling into town at the end of next week... meaning that my couch will be sans corpse_light for a few days while the two of them "catch up." ;) Haven't seen her in ages. Will be nice. And a bunch of you lucky people will have the chance to meet yet another awesome person from NY (now Seattle). :)
