Looks like a perfectly nice day...
If I didn't already have other plans, I'd almost consider braving the crush of tourists to hit the Cherry Blossom Festival stuff.
But only almost.
I don't like it when it's that crowded.
So, it's perfectly OK that I have other plans.
Today (some time), I'll be hanging with br0d and crew (because I think I've got a ride out there). That will give me plenty of time to enjoy the nice weather and fun people.
Weather in the 60's is very nice. It lets me get away with comfortably wearing things like my leather jacket (or is slightly more formal situations the newly acquired sport jacket) without worrying about sweating like crazy. Sure, I've been known to wear the leather when the temp climbs to the high 70s... but it gets distinctly less pleasant to do so.
Kind of like how I've also been known to wear my sunglasses long after the sun goes down. (But, really, there's no better way to break in a new pair... really!)
Yep. Kicking off a good, relaxing weekend. Especially since there is so much less job search stress hanging over my head right now.
