That's what I get...

Well, it wasn't totally unexpected.

The re-reading of sections of The Zelator and the writing of the Metaphysical Monday piece so close to going to sleep plus digging again into another metaphysical flavored book plus who knows what else most definitely led to strange dreams last night ( Read more... )

food, strange, cold, dreams

I need to hibernate too. I am grouchy this week and am stifling the urge to just run up and bite people for no apparent reason... :-P

I had a girlfriend who did that once. Except it wasn't random people. Just me. There's nothing quite as surprising as browsing through a book store and suddenly being bitten. (So, yeah, she was a little short...)

hmm... maybe that's not at all like you being grouchy...

Anyway... what do you have planned for the week/weekend? There is what promises to be a fantastic play going on come Saturday. (Which will be followed by an equally entertaining party thing.)

I've been bitten a lot. And it wasn't always pleasant.

But that was back in college. I really don't expect it these days.

And with my luck if it were still a regular occurrence, it would be from the same skeezy people who come up to me in random places and pet my hair without any invitation. *shudder*

My dream FX are usually pretty darn good. As are the writing and cinematography. This one just felt like a placeholder episode or something. It was annoying. Mostly because I don't like Tom Welling showing up in my dreams in any capacity. Where the hell was Erica Durance? Dammit.

I dated a guy a few years ago who also liked to randomly bite, no matter where we were or who was around. He'd just suddenly lean over, in the middle of hanging out with friends at dinnertime, and bite me, HARD, on the shoulder...enough to leave a bruise. My general reaction was "OK I know some people like that but OMGWTF CUT THAT OUT PLSKTHX"

Ah, exes.

I actually am hopefully doing some rather strenuous hiking/climbing on Saturday. The play sounds great, but I will [in my grand tradition] probably be flat broke in a few days....eek! :-(

Well, Yay! for hiking!

May it be considerably warmer than this past Saturday. I was out running errands and it downright sucked. I think my brain is still a little frozen.

The important thing is that your weekend rocks starting on Thursday. :)

hmmm- well, we will see about that... I'm actually kind of depressed about it this year for some reason? don't really know why. I think it's the recognition of my own mortality combined with a 'This is Your Life' sort of realization.

Midlife Ennui.

Oh, you've still got plenty of time. At least a few more years (if not a decade or so) before you're allowed to hit a mid-life anything. :P

You are stubborn and full of ideas... I expect to see you around and creating for a good long time. :)

(And, really, without mortality, how would artists ever get really famous?) ;)
