A couple of years ago, a little Flash presentation was making the rounds.
OK, it wasn't that little of a Flash presentation, it was more or less professionally produced. But it was making the rounds.
It told the story, from the point of view of a media historian in 2014, of how Google took over the world of news and information.
I've gone searching for it a few times in the past year or so. But searches for "Google takes over the world" now return hundreds of actual news articles (on a really slow day).
But, it seems that
pakgwei managed to track it down. He was nice enough to send me the link. Now, so I don't lose it again--and so you can tremble in fear at the predictions it makes--I post it here.
EPIC: The future of news, presented by the Museum of Media History in 2014.
(There's even an updated version, from 2015, that's a bit crisper and some new "history"--like the iPod.)
