Report of Shooting at Amish Schoolhouse
NICKEL MINES, Pa. Oct 2, 2006 (AP)- Police surrounded a one-room schoolhouse Monday in response to reports of multiple shooting victims, a television station reported, and a state police official says "a number" of people were shot to death at an Amish school.
"There are a number of people dead. … The exact number I do not know yet," state police Cpl. Ralph Striebig said.
WGAL-TV said the incident occurred in southeastern Lancaster County.
This is wrong on so many levels. Regular school shootings are bad enough. But... Amish school shootings? Nope. Can't possibly be true. Must be a bad, bad, evil, nasty dream.
Just... damn. We're all so screwed.
