Why we love ren fair

ceosanna, have_inner_lady and baobh were, by far, the major attractions in the group I wandered about fair with on Saturday. It was fun to watch the men walking with their wives/girlfriends force themselves to look away... to see the single guys trip over the mulch and walk into things... to gaze in amusement as the young boys stared in wonder (and confusion as to that tingly feeling).
Yes, it was a fun day. But really, you should look at the whole set and read the captions I spent so much time writing. :)
I still have to do a full DragonCon review, quick reviews of the movies (The Island and Friday the 13th Part V: The New Blood) I watched tonight and a look at the new television season that's starting up.
Oh yeah, and get on with that whole introspection thing...
And reflect on living though five years of "the new normal."
Lots of writing tomorrow, I guess. (Or, as the case may be, later... I think I've stayed up too late again. Damn good thing I'm on vacation.) :)
