There was going to be two pieces tonight. One about Love vs. Romance and the other the full definition of what I mean when I'm talking about a crush (which should clear up some of the confusion going on here and here in the discussion threads).
But I spent most of the evening hanging out with fractalwoman and pakgwei.
So, the most actual content you're getting tonight is a bunch of thanks for being open and honest with the feedback to those posts linked above. I really do value all of your opinions and they will do more than you know to help me make this book project the absolute best it can be.
After all, without all of you around, I wouldn't have to worry about relationships or anything outside of my own head. Having to keep up with all of you is the most amazing mental exercise I could hope for!
Keep picking at the holes in my logic and presentation! I'd rather hear it from you than some critic in the paper a year from now after this is all published.
Besides, some of you probably know more about this relationship and introspection thing than I do... or at least know different parts of it that I haven't dug into yet...
Also, the web site for "How to Crush Without Being Crushed" will be launching soon... missed my personal deadline of today because I let things slide a little too much last week. That and I'm having some issues coming up with a design I like for the site... I'm just too picky, though. :)
