Last new person of 2005? Perhaps...
Looks like chas_bogan signed on to the crew here a few days ago. I don't know him (at least I'm pretty darn sure I don't since he's over on that other coast) and don't know how he found me, but based on what I can see over in his journal and on his website he seems like a pretty interesting dude. Heck, anyone who makes talking boards and creepy dolls is a-OK in my book.
And, if no one else jumps on board as the boat pulls away from the 2005 dock, he's also the last new person to join my crew this year.
