Day 1
My plane landed five hours ago and I know I should be tired. It's strange, but I'm not. Maybe I'm just too excited. School was finished back in the States and they said that it would be better if I came out here to get used to the city and the school before classes started in the fall. I think I might start looking for a part-time job, maybe something around the school. I don't know yet if I can work. I don't want to do anything that would get me into trouble.
My name is Terry Griffy and I'm majoring in Japanese Studies. I'm minoring in Botany, which is going to be fun. So to the roommates, please don't be afraid of the trails of dirt I might leave in the room. I like to cook, I like to shop and I like to talk. Sometimes I talk a lot, but sometimes I won't say anything. Sometimes I'm shy when I first meet people but if we click, you'll have to tell me to stop.
I haven't really seen anyone around campus. I think everyone is probably at home until the fall. It seems as though I might have the room to myself for a while. Maybe I'll try to set my half of the room in order and that will tire me out.
