I just wanted to thank everyone that came by last weekend for our anniversary party. It was fun and I loved seeing everyone again. The girls loved having company and Mrs. Campbell was happy to meet the friends I've made here. It is still hard to believe that Genichirou and I have been married for seven years already. I'm bringing Daisuke! =D Rika's acting a bit territorial now that she's pregnant, so I don't want to have her around kids, just in case.

I can't wait till she has the puppies! Salazar and Daisuke will have fun trying to sneak food. The kids will have fun chasing them. It'll be like every other weekend.

I want to convince Kunimitsu to let us keep two for another pair. They'll be adorable puppies, just like their parents. =) And Salazar and Daisuke will probably end up teaming up for food and the kids aiding and abetting!

If it wasn't so crowded here I'd want to take one in. Having a 4 year old boxer along with four kids is just a little much. Add the quails on top of that and everything is insane. Leopold is the only quiet one. It's going to be crazy today. I wonder if I should take bets on how long it'll take for the fence to be destroyed this time.

And if you had asked, I would have had to have said no. Akitas aren't family dogs-they like being the only animal in a quiet home, older children are a plus. We exposed Daisuke and Rika to other animals and children very early in their training, which is why they don't try to attack.

Yeah. You kind of had no choice by the time you got Rika. Daisuke was always great with Asoka. And I have a kid flailing in front of me showing me how she can dance. It's interesting.
