New home
So we're all moved in and Asoka has gone back home and it is so quiet and big in here. After over two years in a dorm room, a full sized apartment is gigantic! I almost want to run around with Ghengis (who is loving it. She can run and has her own little area that is just hers. And she has a new friend in Koko and they curl up and sleep together. It's adorable!) The bed is huge and there is still so much room left in the bedroom. I turned the second bedroom into a living room for now, at least until Asoka is older. And it's a full sized fridge! The freezer is huge and we have more room for meat and ice cream. And we are alone. Don't have to worry about anyone walking in at awkward times.
I only have two complaints. The bathtub isn't as big as I would have liked and there is no oven. But I've come to notice that most places don't have them and it's killing me. I know they do make and refit ovens but they're expensive. I've lived without one for a while so it's not like I need one. But maybe in a few years...
And I need to get my hands on a sewing machine. I have to make something special.
