I had the following conversation in Washington Square Park yesterday with a guy who just walked up to me when I was sitting on a bench writing a letter to my friend Jason:

Guy: Hello, what's your name?
Me: Hi, I'm Kat.
Guy: Oh, Kat. Meow!
Me: Hahaha...
Guy: I hope you have a sense of humor. Are you married?
Me: Heh, no.
Guy: Oh, how old are you?
Me: Um, I don't tell...
Guy: What, 20's, 30's?
Me: Don't tell...
Guy: All right, I respect that. Whatcha doing there? I thought you were sketching. You writing poetry?
Me: No, actually, I'm writing a letter to a friend.
Guy: Oh, that's a big letter. [I was writing on a big sheet of newsprint.] You tell them your friend James from New York says hi, all right?
Me: All right, I will.
James: And you have a good day.
Me: You too!

It was kind of rediculous. I should have told him about Leonore. I completely forgot.

I got three fish today, and they're pretty awesome. They made me considerably happier than I'd been earlier in the day. I've decided to name the two goldfish Amy and Arienette, and I still need a name for the silver one.
