*grumble*
The title of this entry was supposed to be "everything is beautiful and nothing hurts"... but well. Um. Good news and bad news:
- good news: I have a new laptop. It's big and beautiful and Windows 7 looks awesome and I can write question marks and numbers again without anything weird happening and it was really expensive but it's awesome and even has a webcam and it will take me ages to get used to all the new stuff and Office 2010 looks weird but I love my new laptop and I want to cuddle it close and never let it go. And I need a name for it, I think. Hmm. Arthur. Blacky. Aethelstan. Adson von Melk. Stephen, Simon, Isaac. It's obviously male, but I think the whole name-thing needs some more time. Anyway...
- bad news: my new laptop does not want to let me use the internet. I tried everything I could think of, but it does not want to connect. I have no idea why, could be the internal antennae is broken, could be Windows 7 is too new for our WLan. This SUCKS. My old laptop is broken, the new one doesn't let me online, so... um. Boredness? Loneliness? Withdrawal symptoms? Everything, also: AAAAAAAAAAAH NOOOOOO WHYYY THIS THING WAS SO EXPENSIVE WHY THE FUCK DOESN'T THE INTERNET WORK I HATE EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD.
I'll take the thing with me to Munich on Monday and see if it likes the excavation's internet, if not... back to the shop. Whyyyy...
This sucks. *sigh* So... um. I won't be around much until I get it fixed. Keep your fingers crossed I find someone to figure this out, hmm?
