Summary: Bones, Jim and Joanna have a car accident. Bones wakes up in the hospital and finds out someone has died. And no one will tell him how his daughter and lover are.

Go read it, right this instant! It's very, very angsty and horrible, and Bones trying to find out how Jim or Joanna are and wondering which one he'd prefer being dead (if one can make this choice) is super-scary. Still, it's amazing and wonderfully written and has one of the best OCs (Nurse Beehive!) I've ever come across. It will break your heart, you will cry big fat tears, but it's so good.

God, Bones is so evil in this one. Completely creepy and scary and evil. Both his and Spock's character voices are brilliantly captured, the athmosphere in this fic is wonderfully dark and wrong. I really recommend this, it's a bit short (I'm still hoping for a sequel BTW), but definitely worth the read.

Summary: Spock is in danger, Bones lets his Reaper!side out to save him. Since he's already revealed himself, he might as well go after whom he wants. And he wants Spock! Overt and kinda forceful flirting ensues, which culminates in Reaper!Bones more or less forcefully seducing Spock into sex. Not that Spock minds, really.

This was amazing. Not only very funny, but lots of amazing angst, too. All characters and their ways to protect Spock were wonderful and the ending was perfect.

This was amazing. Hilarious and wonderful and totally worth the read! Bones just... rolling with it was awesome, and Spock nonchalantly explaining his theories while sitting on Bones' lap was just... epic. Go read!

This is just brilliant. The character voices are amazing, the story is so great. It's sad and angsty and horrible, but Bones' reactions to what Spock tells him about his past are just wonderful to read. Seriously, go and read, you will love it!

I don't usually like to rec WIPs, but I'll make an exeption for this one. God, I'm seriously in love with this fic! Mini Spock is unbelievably cute, Kirk's and Bones' and the whole crew's behaviour towards him melts my brain. Popcorn! Movie nights! Sleepy Spock! Protective Kirk! And Bones! Spock in kiddie clothes with tribble print! OMG, Kirk and Bones and wee Spock watching Princess Bride! This is so goddamn epic I'm lacking words to properly describe my love for this fic. And it features on of the best alien races I've ever come across. So, this is a serious MUST-READ for everyone!

Ahaha! I laughed so hard while reading this! Spock is so awesomely clueless, his "symptoms" are hilarious, Bones' reaction to Spock's "sickness" is awesome, and Kirk rocks the house. I loved this to pieces. It's angsty and sad, Jamie's awful past broke my heart, but Spock is very gentle and caring (also the sex is hot). I especially loved how Jamie doesn't welcome him with open arms when Spock says he's sorry and declares his undying love, but has to think about it first and makes him work for it.
Brilliance or the Necessity of Precision by NayNymic
Summary: Spock and Kirk are in a relationship and Kirk even agreed to move in together. Problem is: Kirk doesn't know, even if everybody else does. What happens when Kirk flirts with another man and breaks Spock's heart?

This is absolutely amazing. Spock is sharing kisses with Kirk and flirts with him, and Kirk doesn't even realise. Bones and the rest of the crew have given their blessings and still Kirk does not see what's going on. I love romantic Spock and oblivious Kirk, and heart-broken Spock is amazing! Totally angsty and wonderful, but happy ending, don't worry!

So, Spock dressing up as a woman = instant win. The sex is awesome, too. But I really liked Spock's reactions and thought processes during and after. Spock thinks he's basically raped the Captain, because a) Jim is straight, b) Spock pretended to be someone else, c) he doesn't want Spock. The way Jim deals with Spock's guilt is just perfect.
Faultlines by what-alchemy (Kirk/genderbent!Spock; Link goes to part 1/2)
Summary: A couple of crewmembers, among them Spock, get turned into a woman. Spock is not pleased. Kirk neither, because Spock withdraws from him. It all works out, though.

This is wonderful. Spock angsting is always good, the classic "Spock gets turned into a woman", too. But this one captures it perfectly, from Spock's discomfort and unfamiliarity with his new body to his insecurities, wonderful. The angsting "will Jim still like me in this body and what about when I get turned back" is very well-written, and I love the bonding between girl!Spock and gir!Sulu. There's decidedly too little Spock/Sulu friendship around, so major plus points for that.

I love transporte malfunction fics, and this one is an amazing fill for a very clever prompt. Kirk's delight in his new "powers" is hilarious, and Spock's hesitation to be... fragile or delicate was very well written. All in all a wonderful story! Funny, a bit angsty, and hot!

Kirk's reactions are perfect, the whole fic is incredibly dark and angsty and wonderful, it's dirty and God, so hot. Must read!

Summary: Written for a prompt on the st_xi_kink_meme, "Jim has a kid and while he's certainly not abusive, his own childhood prevents him from being able to express his affection for said kid(s). He's emotionally unavailable, or prefers the role of playmate to father."

Horrible and wonderful, and so sad. Serious, serious angst and not very happy. This will break your heart! Poor Jim and poor Spock and poor Sarek and poor daughter. Still, it's realistic and wonderfully written, and the ending lets one hope.

Jim doesn't mind so much, because mind-melds feel awesome and he's totally blissed out. But Spock? Spock minds, a lot. The Captain is his, even if he doesn't know it yet.

So funny and wonderful! Oblivious!Jim and annoyed-and-finally-fed-up!Spock are awesome, the sex is hot, this is just perfect. Jim trying to chat up strangers for Spock is hilarious, especially when they somewhat surprisingly seem to be interested in Kirk, not Spock, and the Vulcan having to rescue him is made of awesome. Sarcastic Spock is great, too! I love how Jim just doesn't get it! Example: "Strangely, I find I am in the mood to top a blue-eyed human most severely, until I have rendered him docile and, more importantly, incoherent," Spock said darkly. There's decidedly too little Spock/Sulu friendship around, so major plus points for that.
