So, I'm back and I have a tattoo now and I'm really, really, really happy with it. So awesome!!! If my stupid camera would charge faster I would have already posted pics, but alas, it is really slow. Therefore have some rambling first! ;P
Okay. Phase 2 a.k.a. OMG is this really happening?!
It started last night, when I suddenly remembered my appointment was today. OMG nerves! I did not sleep all that much, but that may also have been due to various really awesome WIPs that had been continued or to the fact that if I start watching How I met your Mother, I can't just watch one episode, I have to watch several. And one more. And maybe one more? Okay, one final episode, then sleep... or maybe just one more? Oh, this is a good one, but then sleep. But maybe one more? etc. etc.
Anyway. Not much sleep.
Then I woke up and stayed in my PJs all morning because I thought putting on real clothes meant the whole tattoo thing was really happening and I kinda maybe was a bit afraid. Several hours were spent text messaging to find someone who had time to come with me, because I really really did not want to go alone and I really really wanted someone to hold my hand. So to speak. FINALLY I found someone - who now, after having seen my AWESOME NEW TATTOO, really wants to get one too btw - and we decided to meet for coffee first. I was very nervous and very excited and had to go to the bathroom six times in one hour. I have a nervous bladder, also I tend to flail uncontrollably if I'm nervous, which apparently was much fun to watch. Glad to be of amusement to you, my dear friends, but I'm kinda freaking out here, so please? Lol. Anyway...
We went to the tattoo place, the woman smirked at me because my voice was kinda high and then. Downstairs, the tattoo room... It was...
Well, it was over pretty quickly. There was an aquarium and I watched some fish swimming around, told the guy some archaeology stories, my friend held my hand - which I wouldn't have needed, nuh-uh, it was more for her benefit, because I totally wasn't nervous or scared at all, no sir, nooo nooo lol - and, well, I got my tattoo. It took about 15 minutes, I think? Interesting to watch, too, and not very painful. A bit like scratching a needle over your skin, it pricked a bit but that was it. Then! I got some safety lectures, some chocolate - why the fuck ever, I was SO not nervous, nuh-uh lol - and paid and left.
Then we drank some more coffee and I had my arm lying on the table the whole time because OMG I HAVE A TATTOO I HAVE TO LOOK AT IT ALL THE TIME AND ALL YOU PEOPLE WALKING PAST LOOK AT THIS AND HOW AWESOME IS THAT AND I WAS SO NOT NERVOUS AND OMG THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!1!! and... well yeah. I think I may have been pretty high on endorphins at that point, or maybe I still am but who the fuck cares because I HAVE A TATTOO AND IT LOOKS AWESOME!!
Want proof? Have some proof!!!
Where is it? THERE it is!
Awesome, right??? BTW this is my Granddad-hat and my new stripey shirt and my bed and ignore all the stuff in the background, I was too nervous today to tidy my room. <.<
And a final close-up, still a bit swollen and the glistening stuff is the cream I have to apply for the next few days but OMG doesn't it look great?? Exactly how I wanted it and yay I have a tattoo now and aaaaaah this rocks!!! ;P
Now I have a headache, lol. Maybe too much endorphins, I don't know or care because wooooooooooooooooo!!! ;P
